What we offer
RFM offers personalized, evidence-based training for endurance sports, with a focus on triathlon.
Our coaches have years of experience coaching and competing locally and internationally, and will tailor their approach to help you reach and exceed your goals.
We may be based in Victoria B.C., but we offer online coaching accessible from anywhere in the world. For those in our hometown, we offer training camps and other group events (as current public health guidelines allow).
What we do
Our team will work with you using Training Peaks software to plan, monitor and adjust your individual training plan. You’ll get feedback on workouts, evidence-based progress reports and a detailed roadmap to get you to the finish line. Whether you are working toward beating your personal best or tackling an Ironman, we have you covered (we promise you’ll have fun)!
We offer single sport coaching (running, cycling, swimming) or multisport coaching. Strength training programs can also be developed to complement your training and support total body fitness and injury prevention. RFM athletes also meet online for ‘Zwift and Zoom’ virtual rides.
How we’ll do it
Define
RFM will help you define your race and fitness goals, and understand your lifestyle factors. We’ll work with you to define what’s most important to you.
Tailor
Using evidence based practices and Training Peaks software, we will develop an individualized plan to get you to your goals and have fun doing it.
adjust
Based on progress, experience and your feedback, we will monitor and revise your plans as needed.
Connect
Encourage you, answer questions when they come up, and link you with other RFM athletes. Coaches meet regularly with athletes over Zoom, or in person as location and public health guidelines allow.
Video Analysis
RFM also offers Video Analysis for both running gait and swim stroke.
Video analysis is an invaluable tool to help athletes and their coaches identify and correct patterns of movement to assist with performance improvement as well as injury prevention. Following the session, athletes receive a detailed report outlining strategies for improvement as well as annotated video footage to assist with individual technique review. Video analysis can speed you up and make you more efficient, while helping you achieve the results you're aiming for.
